VAG/BMW EDC17 DPF removal now available!


September has seen the addition of yet more services from DPF removal. We are now able to offer DPF removal solutions for the latest common rail engines from Volkswagen, Audi, Seat and Skoda and also the newer engines from BMW which carry the Bosch EDC17 ECU from 2008 onwards. Most of these ECU’s have “tuner protection” built in which stops the average tuning establishment dead in their tracks as the OBD socket inside the car cannot be used for programming by anyone other than the vehicle manufacturer. Luckily we have the equipment to bypass the “tuner protection” and we are able to modify the software by removing the ECU from the car and connecting it up to program in boot mode. We take great care in doing this and as such there are no traces of opening the ECU once complete.
