DPF Removal increases fuel economy!

Did you know that choosing to remove your DPF could save you money in fuel? During DPF regeneration, the engine management system injects diesel almost straight into the exhaust which then travels to the DPF and combusts. This causes the DPF to heat up and burn off the soot which has become trapped in the DPF.

When the DPF is fully removed the regeneration cycles are deleted from the engine management system so that diesel is not wasted and you save money in fuel. To add to this, the DPF is a large blockage in your exhaust which prevents free flowing of the exhaust gases. Removing the DPF brick alone also improves fuel economy and frees up extra power.

Customers are reporting a large increase in fuel economy by having the DPF removed.
